📚Super Application Layer

What is an SAL?

SAL, or "Super Application Layer" refers to Lychee's ability to harness the power of your favorite DeFi applications. Lychee wraps these protocols into a sleek interface and consolidates them into a single user-friendly framework.

What this means for you is not having to switch between a variety of applications. Now, everything is conveniently located under one roof.

Lychee's Mission

Lychee's ultimate goal is to consolidate all primary DeFi platforms (those deemed extraordinarily safe and which feature deep liquidity) into 1 interface for ease of use. When Lychee identifies a unique opportunity for capital generation in a niche market segment, Lychee's contributors may submit a governance proposal to the community requesting authorization to design, engineer, fund, and deploy a new protocol for sustained growth.

How does Lychee earn revenue?

Similar to how the App Store takes a fee when you purchase an app on your phone, Lychee takes a small fee when you use it for DeFi transactions.

Where is Lychee's Super Application Layer available?

Deployed initially on Ethereum mainnet, Lychee's Super Application Layer may evolve and expand across most major EVM-compatible chains.

The Advantages of Unified Liquidity

Lychee's predecessor platform was reliant on generating liquidity through its own protocols developed in house. Conversely, Lychee now taps into existing liquidity solutions, serving as a wrapper, enabling users to take advantage of the benefits conferred by harnessing access to protocols with pre-existing deep liquidity.
